REAL RESTORATION

See what a second chance looks like.

Every pre-owned pair starts somewhere. SNEAKLEAR documents the condition before restoration and shows what changed afterward. The goal is improvement, not pretending a used sneaker is new.

01 Upper

Surface dirt and embedded grime treated according to the material.

02 Midsole

Discoloration and visible buildup reduced where the material allowed.

03 Outsole

Dirt removed while original tread wear and permanent use remain visible.

04 Final Presentation

The restored pair is inspected and photographed before listing or documentation.

Every restoration has a story.

As SNEAKLEAR builds its restoration archive, each pair can include its model, year, colorway, original condition, restoration work and remaining signs of wear.

The Air Force 1 High is one of Nike’s most recognizable high-top silhouettes. This particular pair combines a tan upper, tonal construction and brown/gum sole treatment with visible signs of previous use. Its age, identifiable production information and restoration potential make it appropriate for the SNEAKLEAR Archive.

WHY IT’S IN THE ARCHIVE

This pair is being treated as a special-interest restoration rather than automatically being described as rare or collectible. Its final Archive Record will document its identity, original condition, restoration process and post-restoration condition.

01 Identifiable Pair

Style code, size, production dates and manufacturing information are visible on the original label.

02 Material Assessment

Upper materials and appropriate treatment will be confirmed after physical inspection.

03 Documented Process

Before, during and after photographs will record the restoration.

04 Honest Condition

Wear that remains after restoration will be clearly documented.

Current Condition — Before

The pair has not yet completed the SNEAKLEAR restoration process. Visible condition will be documented again when the sneakers arrive and can be physically inspected.

  • Visible surface dirt and discoloration
  • Previous wear on the upper
  • Creasing consistent with use
  • Brown/gum sole requires detailed inspection
  • Ankle straps appear present
  • Interior and outsole condition still to be documented

Restoration Plan

The exact process will depend on physical inspection of the materials after the pair arrives.

  • Dry inspection and photography
  • Upper material assessment
  • Controlled exterior cleaning
  • Midsole and outsole detailing
  • Laces and hardware treatment
  • Interior cleaning as appropriate
  • Material conditioning if suitable
  • Final inspection and photography

Archive Record

When complete, this pair will receive a permanent SNEAKLEAR restoration record.

  • Brand and exact model
  • Style code and production information
  • Verified colorway when confirmed
  • Original condition photographs
  • Restoration work by component
  • Before / After comparison
  • Remaining permanent wear
  • Final restored condition
We document. We restore. We preserve. The SNEAKLEAR Archive is designed for pairs whose age, design, story or special interest merits deeper documentation than a standard resale listing.

WHY SNEAKLEAR

Not just used sneakers. Better prepared for their next owner.

Buying pre-owned footwear should not mean accepting uncertainty. SNEAKLEAR selects, restores and documents the pairs we believe deserve another life. The goal is to improve what can reasonably be improved and show what remains.

01

Selected, not random

Pairs are chosen based on model, condition, restoration potential, remaining useful life and resale value.

02

Restored individually

Every sneaker is treated according to its materials, construction, wear and specific restoration needs.

03

Real condition shown

The goal is not to disguise a used pair. Remaining wear and visible imperfections should be presented clearly.

04

Documented transformation

Before-and-after photography creates a visual record of what changed during the restoration process.

05

Model history matters

Each restoration can document the model, year, colorway, style code and relevant history when the information is verifiable.

06

Another life, not a false reset

Restoration can improve appearance and presentation, but it does not turn used footwear into a new product.

Every pair has a past. We document its next chapter.

SNEAKLEAR is building a restoration archive where each pair can carry its own record: identity, model history, original condition, work performed, final presentation and remaining signs of wear.

THE SNEAKLEAR PROCESS

From overlooked to ready for another life.

A SNEAKLEAR RESTORED pair goes through a deliberate process before it reaches the market. We select, inspect, restore and present each pair individually.

1

Source & Select

We look for pre-owned sneakers with desirability, restoration potential and useful life remaining.

2

Inspect

Materials, construction, wear, damage and overall condition are evaluated before restoration begins.

3

Restore

The pair is cleaned, detailed and reconditioned according to its materials and individual needs.

4

Final Check

After restoration, the sneaker is reviewed again for remaining wear, condition and presentation.

5

Ready to Resell

The restored pair is photographed and prepared for its next owner with its actual condition clearly presented.

Restored doesn’t mean we hide the sneaker’s history.

Pre-owned sneakers may still show signs of wear after restoration. Our goal is to improve what can reasonably be improved, preserve the sneaker’s integrity and clearly present the condition that remains. That transparency is an important part of the SNEAKLEAR process.

BUILT ON TRANSPARENCY

Know the pair you’re buying.

Pre-owned sneakers have a history, and restoration does not erase it. SNEAKLEAR is built around a simple principle: improve the pair, show its real condition and let the buyer make an informed decision.

Honest Condition

Restoration can dramatically improve a sneaker’s appearance, but normal wear, aging or permanent damage may remain. We do not describe a restored used pair as new when it isn’t.

Real Photos

The actual pair matters more than a generic product image. Our goal is to show the sneakers being sold clearly enough for buyers to evaluate their visible condition before purchasing.

Documented Restoration

Before-and-after photography helps demonstrate what was improved during the SNEAKLEAR process and provides a visual record of the pair’s second life.

What transparency means at SNEAKLEAR.

Trust should come from information that can actually be evaluated — not exaggerated claims, stock photographs or fabricated testimonials.

01
The actual pair is shown.

Product listings should use photographs of the sneakers being offered for sale, including relevant wear and condition.

02
Remaining wear is disclosed.

Restoration does not justify hiding permanent stains, sole wear, material damage or other meaningful condition issues.

03
Claims should be supportable.

SNEAKLEAR focuses on visible restoration, reconditioning and inspection rather than making promises that cannot be verified.

Verified reviews will be added as SNEAKLEAR grows. Only genuine feedback from actual transactions or completed restoration services should appear here. No fabricated testimonials.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What to know before buying or restoring.

Clear answers about restored condition, pre-owned footwear, restoration expectations, selling sneakers to SNEAKLEAR and how we present the pairs we offer.

What does “SNEAKLEAR RESTORED” mean?

A SNEAKLEAR RESTORED pair is pre-owned footwear that has been selected, inspected, cleaned, reconditioned and reviewed before being offered for resale. Restored does not mean new. The pair may still show normal signs of wear, aging or permanent material damage.

Are SNEAKLEAR sneakers new or used?

Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, SNEAKLEAR RESTORED sneakers are pre-owned footwear. Our role is to improve the condition and presentation of selected pairs and clearly show their remaining wear before sale.

Can restoration make an old sneaker look brand new?

Not necessarily. Restoration may create a substantial visual improvement, but it cannot reverse every type of aging or damage. Compressed cushioning, worn tread, deep scratches, cracking, permanent discoloration, structural damage and material deterioration may remain.

Do you hide defects during restoration?

No. Our goal is to improve the sneaker, not disguise meaningful problems. Visible wear or damage that remains after restoration should be shown or described so buyers can make an informed decision.

Are the product photos of the actual sneakers?

SNEAKLEAR aims to use photographs of the actual pair being offered for sale rather than relying only on generic manufacturer images. This allows buyers to review the visible condition, wear and restored presentation of the specific pair.

Does SNEAKLEAR authenticate sneakers?

SNEAKLEAR evaluates the footwear we acquire and avoids knowingly offering counterfeit products. However, unless a specific listing states that third-party authentication has been completed, the SNEAKLEAR restoration process itself should not be interpreted as independent third-party authentication.

Which brands does SNEAKLEAR restore and resell?

Potential inventory may include Nike, Jordan, Adidas, HOKA, New Balance, ASICS, Brooks, On, Converse, Onitsuka Tiger, Puma, Under Armour and other quality footwear. Selection depends on more than the brand. Model, size, condition, demand, restoration potential and remaining useful life all matter.

Can I have my own sneakers restored?

Yes. SNEAKLEAR may evaluate customer-owned footwear for cleaning, reconditioning or cosmetic restoration. Because materials and damage vary considerably, the appropriate treatment and pricing should be determined after reviewing the individual pair.

Can I sell my used sneakers to SNEAKLEAR?

Yes, selected pairs may be considered. Send clear photographs showing both shoes, their sides, uppers, soles, size label and any visible damage. Include the brand, model and size if known. SNEAKLEAR can then determine whether the pair fits our restoration and resale criteria. Not every pair will be accepted.

What determines whether SNEAKLEAR buys a pair?

Several factors matter, including the model, size, condition, authenticity concerns, restoration cost, expected demand and remaining useful life. A recognizable brand alone does not automatically make a sneaker a good resale candidate.

Are restored sneakers disinfected?

SNEAKLEAR may perform interior cleaning and appropriate treatment as part of reconditioning. However, specific sanitation or disinfection claims should depend on the actual products and procedures used on that pair. We avoid promising complete elimination of microorganisms unless the process used can support that claim.

Where can I buy SNEAKLEAR sneakers?

Available inventory can be shown through SNEAKLEAR.COM and linked marketplace listings. Because restored sneakers are usually one pair in one specific size, availability changes as individual pairs are sold.

Still have a question about a pair? Send SNEAKLEAR the details or photographs and tell us whether you want to buy, restore or sell sneakers.
